Scheduling Games
Scheduling games can be difficult at times, and we encourage players to be accommodating with each other when working on a day and time to play. We encourage most games to be played weeknights after 5PM and on weekends (this is a recommendation not rule).
Players should have availability during the week nights and weekends to accommodate everyone’s schedules.
If you are unable to provide at least 10 days out of the 21 available days in a round for your opponent and your opponent is unavailable on the days provided, please let the executives know and they will decide the outcome of the game (which is either a 70-0 win for one of the players, or a 0-0).
List Penalties
Illegal lists will be penalized on the following:
- A League
- -10 Point deduction and list must be corrected but not tailored (list will be reviewed by TO’s to ensure this is correct)
- B League
- TO’s will assess the situation and determine the outcome. Examples are
- List is over 2000pts, a unit must be removed to put the list under 2000pts
- List is illegal, list must be updated and approved by TOs
- Repeat offenders will be penalized at -10pts
- TO’s will assess the situation and determine the outcome. Examples are
Terrain
In an attempt to avoid conflicts, the Halton division uses a fixed terrain layout which can be found in the schedule. Many local stores have terrain sets available to play with.
GW Terrain:
This season we are giving the option of games being played with the GW Terrain Layouts (see webpage for the exact layout). There has been feedback the past few seasons and interest in this and we are looking to create variety in the games played. With that said there are some rules that everyone must abide by:
- The GW layouts posted on the website use the WTC terrain and area footprints; players are to find something to make up the area for the 4″x6″ area terrain (crates shouldn’t be used).
- If you have a small terrain piece that can go in there then that is a good thing and is allowed as this is an area that a vehicle shouldn’t be in.
- If you have a valid GW Terrain set then there are no issues using this and should be communicated with your opponent when finding a time to play.
- To use the GW terrain, both players must agree when you are scheduling your game. If one player does not want to use the GW terrain, then you MUST use the WTC terrain layout posted on the website (there are no exceptions to this rule).
Changing Lists
Lists can be changed each round, regardless of a win/loss up until R4 (see below for Top Cut/List Lock)
Top Cut/List Lock
We will be doing a top cut of 10 for R5. Those who are in the top 10 entering R5 cannot change their list (you are list locked). Players outside the top 10 can change their lists.
After R5 if there are two undefeated players, they will have a shadow round to determine the winner. If we have 3 undefeated players, the player who is in 3rd will remain in 3rd place.
