Welcome back for Season 9 of the Ontario 40k League!

This league is fun for everyone and competitive for some. New players are 100% welcome. The league is free to play, please support your FLGS.

5 games through the fall season, August 25 – December 7, using 2025-2026 Chapter Approved Mission Deck and Tournament Companion.

The general rule is that you pick a faction for the season (5 games) and can change your list for each of the first four rounds. You will get paired up with an opponent and will then have three weeks to get your game in. After the first round winners play winners and losers play losers.

Please bring an army that you can compete with and complete games in 3 hours (1:30 clock time per player). While games aren’t always played with a clock, schedules can make it difficult for both players to play a leisurely 5 hour game.

All league communication happens on the OFL Sudbury Discord. When you join please add a Server Nickname so that people can find you.

Detailed rules are on the Ontario 40k League website, it outlines what happens when a new FAQ or faction rules are released as well as a few other corner cases.

At the end of the Season there will be an invitational tournament for the top players from across Northern Ontario. If there is space there will also be an Open tournament for players from across Northern Ontario.
